Nashville artist, Todd Greene, created this original painting for First Tennessee Bank…the beautiful Nashville skyline, highlighting First Tennessee’s building in the middle. Employees of First Tennessee then got to work on this group mural recreation, each painting just one small square. ..60 smaller canvases one big masterpiece!
Art lessons for kids
The EMMA logo…creative interpretations! Three amazing local artists, Beth Inglish, Myles Maillie, and Todd Greene, designed their own interpretation of the EMMA logo. EMMA employees recreated all three, tiny canvas by tiny canvas, resulting in three huge group murals! They look great hanging in their front entry.
Our art lessons for kids are all about the PROCESS, about kids finding their own CREATIVE EXPRESSION, about kids having FUN and feeling CONFIDENT! Currently booking for individual private lessons or small group lessons (6 maximum).
Art work shown inspired by lesson from an amazing resource for all things art education: https://www.deepspacesparkle.com/. Thank you, Patty Palmer!
200 five-by-five wooden tiles, 1 five-by-ten foot piece of galvanized sheet metal, 16 major projects represented, 11 offices, and 1 annual Stockholders meeting with over 200 participants…ultimately creating one humongous collaborative masterpiece. Barge Design Solutions wanted to deliver a WOW factor for this event - mission accomplished! Each painted 5x5 tile with magnets on the back was placed on the metal, like putting together a puzzle, slowly revealing the big picture.
We love our local artists!! Todd Greene created the amazing original 3-D piece of art that incorporated images to symbolize 16 major projects completed by Barge. Marcus Williams, of One Man, One Garage, made these wonderful little wooden people that were glued to the back of each tile. (More on those below.)
Each tile had magnets and a wooden person glued to the back. Before picking up the paint brush, participants reflected on what defines their unique gift to their team, and then wrote that in a few words on the wooden person. If you walk into Barge’s offices today, you could pick up one of the painted tiles, flip it over to see who the artist-employee was and read about their unique gift. The original painting by Todd hangs in the office across from the collaborative mural.
Babyshower! Friends in Nashville gathered to paint this sweetest group mural for the mom-to-be in New York City. Each guest painted a square that was included in the final large canvas, which was delivered with love to NYC.
Over 200 employees from the IT Department of Tractor Supply flexed their right brain muscles and worked together to create this one-of-a-kind collaborative mural.
Local artist, Kristi McDougal, created the original bucolic pastoral scene. Employees bravely painted their tiny canvases, copying from what we gave them…having no idea what their simple lines and blobs of color would ultimately reveal.
Employees at Tractor Supply “go the country mile” every day, and they are the foundation of the company’s success. TSC had each participant write down what they felt was their most significant accomplishment in the past year on those little wooden people….created by local artist, Marcus Williams, of One Man, One Garage. These area attached to the back of the canvase, providing the foundation for the collaborative mural.
Inspire. Mentor. Nurture. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle TN is one of our favorite organizations. The work they do INSPIRES us! Employees were divided into three groups. Each group worked on one large canvas for a bit, and then traveled to another canvas, adding their creative touches before moving on to the third and final canvas. We think each finished piece is as colorful and vibrant as all of the BBBS Middle TN employees!
c3 consulting wanted to celebrate their employees, recognizing the unique gift each brings to the organization. But how to make this a living, moving piece, that would be able to incorporate new hires as they joined the team?? Magnets and a huge piece of galvanized sheet metal!
Each employee painted their own box cover. Lift the cover, and you’ll discover who the artist is, as well as a brief description of their gift and a particular accomplishment from the past year of which they are proud.
The magnetic painted boxes can be easily moved around, to change the layout, get new perspectives, and make room for new employees!
Staff of Big Brothers Big Sisters Middle Tennessee gathered to create this one-of-a-kind group mural, inspired by the street artist, Thank You X.
Each employee used various shapes, lines and patterns to design their cube: one side representing the role of the Big (the mentor), and one side representing the role of the Little (the mentee). Individually, each cube represents the empowering relationship between the Little and the Big and the BBBS organization. Various images, shapes and lines symbolize the continuous flow of nurture and growth amongst the three.
Collectively, this mural of cubes shows the power of community - when these individual cubes are placed together, the impact of the combined image becomes exponential.
Synergy Business Solutions gathered to celebrate the year and do some good. Employees put their artistic touches on individual canvases with the Ronald McDonald House Charities logo. They then donated all of the canvases to be hung in various spots at the Ronald McDonald House in Nashville.
Here are just a few of the beautiful creations.
LEAD Tennessee is a leadership program for employees of the State of TN. We helped this talented group celebrate their achievements with water colors and paint! The words written on the canvases are reflective of the core competencies of the LEAD Tennessee program. The mandalas, created with pencil and watercolor, contain shapes that serve as unique visual representations of these core competencies for each participant.
We are available for private parties! Email us with details regarding your event, and we will brainstorm a one-of-a-kind celebration.
